Title: Internship North Macedonia Team

Overview & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Regional Programme Manager, the incumbent will be working together with the North Macedonia Team and the Headquarters in Rome (Italy), and undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
• Support the coordination of work and information among IDLO Office or within the designated program (EECA);
• Provide support in the organization of missions and meetings;
• Provide support in the preparation of donor reports – including editing, proof-reading and formatting;
• Undertake research and analysis of donor priorities and assist with project development;
• Provide support in the development of internal briefs, internal monthly progress reports and other documents;
• Assist with the translation of internal documents;
• Assist with day-to-day administrative and logistical duties;
• Conducting research into legal, political and other aspects of the current situation in relevant countries/regions;
• Use innovative legal resources to undertake research into trends and best practices in Rule of Law and related topics in relevant region;
• In the framework of Results-Based Management assist with monitoring and evaluation tools for the projects;
• Under the guidance of a dynamic international team assist with other day-to-day administrative duties, such as organization of the events, meetings, seminars and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education and Professional Experience
• Master’s Degree/ Graduate degree in law, public administration, public policy or other relevant social sciences is required.
• Desired experience in working and/or collaborating with student associations and organizations.
Languages
• Outstanding written and verbal skills in English.
Specific knowledge, skills and competencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient use of other ICT software and internet software would be a plus.
• Works well with others and actively participates.
• Proven ability to see through tasks set and deliver results.
• Keen sense of ethics, integrity, and commitment to IDLO’s mandate.
Terms & Conditions (remain the same except for the stipend as per the office location)
Internships are offered for 3 months and are renewable up to a maximum of 6 months. Full-time placement (40 hours a week) is strongly preferred.
